Arboleda

Arboleda, Chile’s best ranked Sauvignon Blanc by James Suckling

“The diversity and excellence in Chilean winemaking is so impressive and the trend seems to be growing every trip we make to the country.” – James Suckling

During his recent visit to Chile—the fourth in two years—James Suckling, considered the world’s most influential wine critic by Forbes magazine, tasted more than 600 wines from different valleys and once again declared himself impressed by the positive and fast evolution of Chilean winemaking. In his annual report he singled out Arboleda’s 2015 Sauvignon Blanc with the highest score for the variety and acknowledged all six of the winery’s single vineyard wines with outstanding ratings and descriptions such as “fantastic texture,” “balance and finesse,” “polished and compacted” and “elegant style.” Once again, this confirms Arboleda’s consistency, distinctive quality and character.

Viña Arboleda’s Winemaker Emily Faulconer commented “our entire team is thrilled to have received such high praise from James Suckling for each of our six wines—it is truly encouraging and a solid validation of our work.”
