Viña Arboleda takes part in the Descorchados Puerto Varas 2023 Fair
On Saturday, September 9th, the first edition of the Descorchados Fair was held in the city of Puerto Varas, the first time that Chile’s leading wine fair has been held in southern part of the country.
The event, sponsored by the renowned Descorchados Wine Guide, authored by Chilean wine writer and critic Patricio Tapia, was held at the Hotel Enjoy Puerto Varas and Viña Arboleda was in attendance with its portfolio of super premium and ultra premium wines.
During the fair, visitors had the opportunity to learn about the 2022 vintage of Arboleda Sauvignon Blanc and the 2021 vintage of Arboleda Syrah and Carmenere and were captivated by the 2021 vintage of the icon wine Brisa, a blend of Syrah, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Mourvedre. More than 250 people attended the event, which featured around 50 Chilean wineries presenting and offering tastings of some of their top wines that were featured in the latest Descorchados Wine Guide, accompanied by a selection of fine Chilean cuisine and world-class local products
